Baked Nutella Ravioli
Whip up a batch of baked Nutella ravioli! It’s a fun project with a delicious outcome: flaky, buttery pastry surrounding a rich chocolate hazelnut filling.
Oh, gosh! I just put my kids on the bus for their first day of school!
They are going into 3rd and 5th grades. I can hardly believe it! This is my older one’s last year of elementary school. Next year he’ll be in middle school. Where did the time go???
Even though we’ve been through this so many times before, it still feels new every year. And I feel all their excitement and nervousness right there with them.
Before we left for vacation, my 10-year old and I made up a batch of these baked nutella ravioli. He stayed home from camp one day so it was just the two of us. He absolutely LOVED working on this project together.
His number one favorite was putting the pastry dough through the pasta machine. He was in his glory!
His second favorite was playing in the flour that was dusted all over our kitchen counter. And I’m proud (and very surprised!) to say that he did an excellent job with the cleanup! I showed him how to use a bench knife to scrape up all the mess. He did it perfectly! And went on to shine everything up like a champ.
It was a really fun recipe to work on together, and the outcome was positively scrumptious. Tender, flaky, buttery pastry, wrapped around a rich filling of chocolate hazelnut Nutella. We devoured every last piece!
