Hey guys!
I’m guest posting for my good friend Zainab over at Blahnik Baker today! I’m sure you probably already know her, she’s a total superstar blogger, but if not, you’ve got to get over there! If you like Baking a Moment, you are going to LOVE Blahnik Baker! Zainab makes the most amazing goodies, and she is so sweet and warm and lovely. I made her these macarons while she’s out of town for a conference.
Click here to go check out the post and download the recipe. They are super yummy and so seasonal. Perfect for your holiday dessert table! Make sure to introduce yourself to Zainab and tell her Allie sent you!

I know just what you mean, Ginnie! I got on a kick a while back too… I love making them! Aren’t they so fun? I love the challenge and I love how adaptable they are to different flavors. I hope you enjoy! 🙂
Is there anything you can’t bake beautifully? Seriously, Allie, you need to think about opening a bakery (you know, in all of your free time…..ha).
Ha ha! Don’t worry, I see my fair share of kitchen failures! I just don’t blog those, lol! 😉

Thank you, Amy! It feels so good to be getting back into my normal routine again. 🙂
I’m so happy you like the macarons! They can be a little tricky to make but I just love them. You will have no trouble, I’m sure. You are such a talented baker 😉 Good luck and thanks for the sweet comment!
These macarons look awesome Allie! I love that you used both ground walnuts and almonds and combined it all with the wonderful cranberry-orange/ holiday flavors. The spiced cream cheese sounds wonderful too and I can imagine how incredible these taste! Pinning – these would surely brighten up any party or festive gathering 🙂
Thank you Kelly! I love that combination of flavors at this time of year. I’m getting into the holiday spirit! So happy you liked the post, and thanks for pinning, dear!
I have always wanted to make macarons. It’s the one thing on my list that I need to conquer! These look absolutely gorgeous, Allie. I am heading over to grab your recipe …and pinning!
Thanks Gloria! And you should totally try your hand… macarons are so much fun to make. They can be a little fussy sometimes, but I like the challenge! I always get so excited when I put them in the oven. I keep the light on and watch so carefully, waiting to see if the “feet” are going to form. Ha! Yes I am a bit of a dork 😛 Thanks so much for the sweet compliment and thanks for pinning! xo
I’m one of those as well, that sit at the oven window and get so giddy! (Even when my cupcakes are nice and puffy.) Ahhh, the simple things we get so excited about! (=
Whoa girl, these macarons look incredible! Look at the perfect little feet. I’m in love with the styling or your photos too So much gorgessity here!
Thanks, you are sweet! The feet were actually a little spread but I did my best to hide that in the photos. Ps- Gorgessity is my new favorite word. 😀
I saw these in Zainab’s blog and I loved them so much! They look super delish and they’re so pretty as well 🙂
Thanks, Consuelo! They came out a little more wintry-looking than I intended. I guess I’m getting into the holiday spirit early this year, lol! 😉
Just so beautiful and delicious!! I would give anything for a dozen of these right now 🙂 Thank you very very much my dear for bringing these over and guest posting while I am away. You are the best and I am so lucky to call you a friend 🙂
The feeling is mutual, Zainab! Thank you so much for the opportunity to post on your blog today. I’m so happy you like the post and I hope your readers do too! xoxo
Oh. My. Gosh.
Seriously. Oh my gosh! These look so delectably yummy and delicate but I just want to shove them in my mouth like Cookie Monster (before he went all lame and healthy). Can I still be a lady but eat these like a monster?
Yay! I’m so glad you like them Dani! And yes, you can still be a lady and shove macarons in your mouth. They’re French, so American lady-laws do not apply 😉
As always. . just gorgeous and delicious!!!
Thank you Alice! So happy you liked! 😀 😀 😀
