Toast the pine nuts in a dry pan over medium heat, until lightly browned and fragrant.

Step 1

Place the basil, toasted pine nuts, lemon zest, garlic, and crushed red pepper in the bowl of a food processor and pulse.

Step 2

While the food processor is running, stream in the olive oil slowly.

Stir in the parmesan and salt.
