BEST EVER  Sticky Buns

Gooey and sweet these are the best ever homemade sticky buns.

3/4 cup warm water

1/3 cup sugar

1 packet dry active yeast

1/4 cup oil

1/4 cup buttermilk

Ingredients:

4 1/2 cups all purpose flour

1 egg

Homemade  Sticky Buns

Step 1

Sprinkle dry active yeast over warm water. After 5 to 10 minutes it should look foamy.

Step 2

Add the buttermilk, oil, egg, and salt. Mix to combine.

Step 3

Now it's time to start adding the flour. Knead a little flour at a time until dough is no longer sticky.

Step 4

Keep kneading the dough for about 10-15 minutes to develop the gluten.

Step 5

Once the dough is needed, mist your bowl with cooking spray, place the dough in a bowl, and cover with plastic wrap. Allow the dough to rise for about an hour.

Step 6

Heat brown sugar, butter, and honey in a bowl in the microwave. Pour onto bottom of a baking dish.

Step 7

Mix the sticky brown filling. by mixing up the brown sugar and cinnamon.

Step 8

Once the dough has risen, punch it down, and form into a big rectangle.

Step 9

Spread soft butter all over the surface of the dough, then sprinkle with brown sugar. Roll into a tight log.

Step 10

Cut the log into 12 equal rolls, and nestle into gooey brown sugar glaze.

Step 11

Allow buns to proof for another hour. Then bake for 30-35 minutes at 350 F. Allow to cool for 20 minutes in the pan.
