Flourless Chocolate Cake

A 5 ingredient flourless chocolate cake that will satisfy your chocolate craving!

14 ounces of bittersweet  chocolate

1 1/4 cup unsalted butter

1/2 tsp kosher salt

8 eggs separated

1 1/3 cup granulated sugar

Step 1

Break up the chocolate into small pieces.

Step 2

Melt the chocolate in the microwave or using the double boiler method.

Step 3

Whip your egg whites. Then whip your egg yolks together with the sugar for 5 minutes.

Step 4

Fold the melted chocolate into the egg yolk mixture. 

Step 5

Then fold in the whipped egg whites.

Step 6

Pour the batter into a parchment lined, lightly greased springform pan. Bake for 55-65 minutes at 350 F.

Serve with whipped cream!
