Mulled Wine

Ingredients:

Red Wine Brandy Dark Brown Sugar Whole Cloves Cardamom Pods Cinnamon Sticks Orange Zest & Orange Juice Star Anise Fresh Cranberries

Step 1

Place the wine, brandy, brown sugar, cloves, cardamom, cinnamon, orange zest, and orange juice in a large, heavy bottomed pot.

Step 2

Bring the mixture to a boil, then lower the heat and simmer for 30 minutes.

Step 3

Remove the spices and citrus peel, and ladle the liquid into glasses or mugs.

Step 4

Garnish with cinnamon sticks, orange slices, star anise, and/or fresh cranberries, if desired. Serve hot.
