Pecan Pie Bars

Ingredients:

All Purpose Flour Powdered Sugar Josher Salt Eggs Brown Sugar Honey Maple Syrup Butter Vanilla Extract Kosher Salt Pecan Pieces

Step 1

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, powdered sugar, and salt.

Step 2

Cut in the cold butter until only pea-sized pieces remain.

Step 3

Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan, pressing it into an even layer.  Bake for 20 minutes, or until set.

Step 4

Whisk the eggs, brown sugar, honey, maple syrup, melted butter, vanilla, and salt together in a large bowl.

Step 5

 Fold in the pecans, and pour the mixture over the partially baked shortbread crust.

Step 6

Bake the pecan pie bars at 350 F until the filling is set (20 to 25 minutes). Cool completely before cutting into squares.
