Ingredients:

Chocolate  Cream

All Purpose Flour Dark Brown Sugar Granulated Sugar Baking Powder Baking Soda Cinnamon Nutmeg Ginger Unsalted Butter Pumpkin Puree Sour Cream Vanilla Extract

Stir the flour, sugars, and spices in a mixing bowl.

Step 1

Use an electric mixer to work in the butter on medium-low speed, until the mixture resembles damp sand.

Step 2

Stir in the eggs, one at a time, allowing each egg to become fully incorporated before adding the next.

Step 3

Scrape the bottom and sides of the bowl with a silicone spatula.

Step 4

Stir in the pumpkin puree, sour cream,* and vanilla extract.

Step 5

Beat for 60-90 seconds.

Step 6

Transfer the batter to the prepared cake pan and bake for  65 minutes.

Step 7

When the cake is cool enough transfer to a serving plate and frost with cream cheese frosting.
