Place the cake flour, all-purpose flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl, and whisk to combine.

Step 1

Add the butter, mixing on medium-low speed until the mixture resembles damp sand.

Step 2

Add the eggs, one at a time. Scraping the sides of the bowl to incorporate.

Step 3

Add the sour cream, milk, vanilla extract, and vanilla bean paste. Stir until fully combined.

Step 4

Fill the papers half full and bake for 16 to 20 minutes.
