Honey Butter Sauce
- 4 Tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/3 cup honey
- 2 Tablespoons rice wine vinegar
- 1 Tablespoon soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
In medium bowl, combine the flour, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Add the cubed chicken and toss until fully coated.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Shake off the excess flour and add the chicken. Cook the chicken for 6-8 minutes, about 3-4 minutes on each side, until crispy and golden brown on the outside. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set on a plate.
Add the butter, honey, rice vinegar, soy sauce, and red pepper flakes (if using). Bring the sauce to a rolling boil, continuously whisking for 2 minutes, then reduce to a simmer for 1 minute. Add the chicken to the sauce, tossing to coat, and cook for 1 minute.
Serve over rice and topped with sesame seeds. Leftovers stay fresh covered tightly in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
