Ingredients

  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted (113g)
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs 16 full sheets/250g
  • 1 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips 170g
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips 170g
  • 1 ½ cups sweetened coconut flakes 180g
  • ¾ cup pecans chopped (90g)
  • 14 ounce can of sweetened condensed milk 396g

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 325°F and line a 9x13 pan with parchment paper.
  • Combine melted butter, kosher salt and graham cracker crumbs in a bowl and mix until fully combined. Then press into the bottom of your prepared pan.
  • Sprinkle the chocolate chips and butterscotch chips over the graham cracker crust.
  • Now sprinkle the coconut over the chocolate and butterscotch chips and then sprinkle the pecans over the coconut.
  • Drizzle the sweetened condensed milk over the top of the entire surface, doing your best to get an even layer without pooling the condensed milk anywhere. If desired, top with a few additional chocolate and butterscotch chips, lightly pressing them into the sweetened condensed milk.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until the edges are just beginning to lightly brown, about 25-30 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely before slicing and serving.

Notes

Mini chocolate chips can be replaced with regular size chocolate chips in any flavor you desire.  Milk, dark, white or peanut butter would all be delicious!
Pecans can be replaced with walnuts, almonds, peanuts or cashews.
7 layer bars can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days or in the refrigerator for up to one week.  They also freeze well for up to 3 months.
