  • Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F, and line a baking sheet with a silicone mat, parchment, or foil.
  • Place the oats, almonds, brown sugar, cocoa, and salt in a large mixing bowl and toss to combine.
  • Whisk the melted butter, honey, egg whites, and vanilla together, and pour into the oat mixture.
  • Stir together until well-combined.
  • Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking sheet, spreading it out in an even layer.
  • Bake for 30 minutes or until the almonds look lightly toasted.
  • Remove from the oven and sprinkle with mini chocolate chips while still warm.
  • Cool completely on the baking sheet, break into clusters, then transfer to an airtight container.
