And that little ray of sunshine on my shoulder is Bert! She's my constant companion, and together we create the most delicious recipes and share them here on this website and on Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, and TikTok.
My number one goal is to provide simple yet delicious dishes to help my readers create happy memories to share with the people they love.
I live in the Philly 'burbs, and I used to work at a residential architectural firm, but back in 2012 (when my two sons were just toddlers!) I needed something that would allow me to be home with them. So I fell back on the skills I had learned while I was working my way through college as a pastry chef, and Baking a Moment was born!
Since then, my kiddos have grown and flown, but I haven't stopped creating easy, beautiful, and memorable recipes! Readers love them, and I've been blessed to be featured in Better Homes and Gardens, Bake from Scratch magazine, Women's Day, Country Living, Redbook, Parade, and on Today and Fox 29 Philadelphia!
I started out just sharing desserts, but over the years, that has expanded to include breakfast treats, breads, party appetizers, drink recipes, dinner recipes, and side dishes. These comfort food recipes are designed to be simple, easy, flavorful, and memorable. I hope you will bookmark your favorites and return to them again and again.

Hi Allie. I had a recipe on my Pinterest for an Asian pear Bundt cake with Chinese five spice and that I got on your site. I’m no longer able to get it from Pinterest and I used it every year when I get my Asian pears. Is there a chance I can get this recipe from you again? It was one of my favorites. Thank you so much.
