Spicy Mustard Drumsticks (A Guest Post by See Hubby Cook)
Spicy mustard drumsticks will be the hit of any gathering. Poker night, playdate group or those picky teens that are just too cool for words – all will love these drumsticks!
Dani and JT from SeeHubbyCook.com bring us this recipe for spicy mustard chicken drumsticks!
Hi guys! Â It’s me, Allie. Â Well, it’s been a fabulous week of guest posts from some of my best bloggy friends. Â As I’m writing this now, I’m just a few hours away from surgery, but by the time you’re reading, I’ll probably be almost back to my old self (fingers crossed!) Â I hope you’ve enjoyed what you’ve seen so far! Â Today’s post is brought to you by the husband and wife team of See Hubby Cook. Â I just love this couple! Â They are too cute for words, and they always whip up the most fabulous recipes together. Â I think you’ll really enjoy Dani’s humor and JT’s fabulous drumsticks!
Hey guys! I’m Dani. My hubby, JT, is the master chef of our home and today he’s made a two-part plate of awesomeness: spicy mustard drumsticks and Asian Fusion Drumsticks.
Now, let me set the record straight here. I don’t cook. AT ALL. I bake. But attempts at cooking on my part all end in disaster. JT is the one who can make a pile of ingredients become a magical concoction of delicious. Thank God. I’m pretty sure I’d starve to death if I hadn’t married him.
You think I exaggerate. Try me. I wouldn’t last a week.
Although, I would like the record to show that I did help with the Asian drumsticks. I made the marinade. I can measure ingredients. That’s about the extent of my helpfulness.
If there happen to be any men reading this (yes you! With the facial/chest hair!) may I just applaud you now? Seriously, play up your cooking skills with the ladies. Just try throwing that information around and see if you don’t find yourself a wife. Already got a wife? Does she or does she not love and heartily nom the food you make her?
Proof that guys who can cook are sexy.
If, however, you are the lady of the kitchen, never fear! The men of the house (um…meaning hubby/bf and sons not your personal harem of men…awkward) will be drooling on your feet for these drumsticks. You might want to be barefoot. No need ruining your favorite pair of shoes or socks just because you made an awesome dinner.
Ladies and gentlemen, it’s time to channel your inner power to exert dominance via the tummy! Got a group of rowdy men playing poker in the garage tonight? Make the drumsticks. Mommy playdate group that has that one catty mom who criticizes everyone? Make the drumsticks. Teenagers who insist they’re too cool to sit at the table for dinner? Make the drumsticks.
Watch as all fall at your feet to become your personal minions, all for the chance to have more of the goodness that you created in the kitchen. Muwahahahahahahaha!!
Um…ahem.
Keep in mind, this is coming from a gal who is not the dominator of dinner. Technically, I’m a dinner minion. But since I’m the dominator of dessert, hubby is my dessert minion. Thus we are equally powerful in our kitchen. Which is good. I might let power get to my head. Evil laughs are super fun to make, after all.
Enjoy!
Don’t forget to check out the Asian fusion drumsticks recipe!
Wow! Â How’s that for a dynamic duo? Â I’m talking about the chicken recipes and the couple behind them! Â Thank you so much, Dani & JT, for hooking us up with this mouthwatering recipe! Â Guys, if you like what JT & Dani have cooked up for us today, then you should definitely go check out their blog, See Hubby Cook. Â It’s loaded with all kinds of fabulous. Â And you can follow them on Facebook and Pinterest too! Â
About Dani & JT:  We’re JT (hubby) and Dani (wifey). Certain family members had been bugging us for ages to start a blog so – to get them off our backs – we did! (Family members, please don’t hate us for saying that!)
JT has been the cook in this marriage since day two in our apartment (day one was Domino’s. Move-in pizza is a tradition). Although Dani attempted cooking she kinda sorta REALLY stinks at it. She can, however, bake and write. Thus we make an awesome food blogging duo. Our dream is to spread tasty awesomeness to hungry recipe seekers all over the world!
Before I sign off for the weekend, I just want to give a great big THANK YOU to all the bloggers who’ve helped me out this week. Â You have been so wonderful, I’ve loved working with you, and I’m sure my readers also appreciated reading your posts while I was laid up. Â
Thanks again to Rachel of Teacher by Day, Chef by Night, Kat of I Want Crazy, Nora of Buttercream Fanatic, and of course, Dani and JT of See Hubby Cook. Â Everybody, go show them some love! Â
And I can’t wait to get back to baking and blogging again!  As long as my surgery goes well, and I heal nicely, I should be posting again by Tuesday 😉  Thanks for hanging in there with me, guys! Â

Thanks Kelly! It’s been a little over a week now and I’m getting there! I wish it was happening faster but I guess it’s probably because I’m trying to do too much. But the good news is I’m up and on my feet and even doing a little baking! Thanks for hanging in there during my absence, and for the sweet thoughts 🙂
Thanks Dani and JT for sharing these rockin drumsticks! My hubby loves anything to do with mustard…and especially if it has spicy in front of the word mustard. Love how easy these are, too. Already pinned!
