Days can get long & boring when school is out and there’s not much to do. As a work-from-home mom of 2 energetic boys, I’m always looking for ways to keep my kiddos off their screens and engaged in activities that are creative, educational, and FUN!
Baking is a great way to teach kids all sorts of great lessons, while having a blast in the process!
When you bake with your kids, they’ll practice math skills (through measuring), organization, and even science! There’s lots of chemistry involved, and something as simple as making a fun treat can become a real teachable moment for a child.
And don’t discount the pride and confidence they’ll feel at having created something special, that puts a smile on everyone’s face!
