Apple Blondies with Maple Icing
A perfect treat for fall: apple blondies with maple icing! Loaded with chunky apples and so moist and cake-y, with a sweet maple glaze on top.
I have another great apple recipe for you today!
‘Tis the season, after all. Right?
Today it’s apple blondies with maple icing. And they make a perfect afternoon snack!
Have you gone apple picking yet? We still have yet to get out there. There’s a great place near where we live that lets you pick apples and pumpkins, and go on hay rides and shop their little farmers market. It’s such a fun fall tradition.
But these apple blondies were made with a gorgeous shipment of apples I received from Stemilt. They sent along a box of their SweeTango variety, and they’re absolutely perfect for baking.
These made a perfect after-school snack. My kids really enjoyed the bars; they’re moist and cake-y and just loaded with chunky apples. And that maple icing on top adds a nice sweetness. It’s like a bite of fall!
